Two questions

1)  Covenant of Noah activated AFTER "Image of Jealousy TC" has been placed on Wall of Protection.  It is my understanding that because IOJ is already placed, CON cannot remove it, correct?  I think this came up before about using it to remove Abom.  I think the ruling is that if CON was active at the time you try to place IOJ it could have stopped it, but once placed it cannot remove it.  Is this correct?

2)  What happens to enhancements played in battle when there are no more people in battle to play them on?  What I mean is, say I use Deborah's directive on Deborah to band in all of my opponent's Blue Genesis heroes.  This gives the EC a lot of initiative.  He plays an EE that removes Deborah from the battle.  1)  This does not stop the effect of Deb's directive, just because the person who played it is gone, right? (I'm pretty sure on this one)  2)  Does Deb's Directive remain in battle, adding its numbers to offense and defense, despite having no more gold heroes in the battle? (I'm not so sure on this one.)

Thanks for your help!

CoN can negate IoJ for one phase (thereby "un-negating" the Hero or Fortress for that phase). However, it can only undo the placement if CoN is used in the same phase as IoJ.

Enahncements that have no characters that can play them are immediately discarded, unless another character is brought in as part of the same effect that removed the original character. That is, in your example, Deb's Directive is discarded. But if the opponent played say, Lies, and brought in another gold Hero, then DD would stay and its numbers would count. You are correct that getting rid of Deb does not negate Deb's Directive, unless Deb was removed by a card (or series of cards) that interrupted DD as well. That is, if Deb uses DD, and the opponent responds by playing Dream (ItB, d3, play next) then playing Coliseum Lions and discards Deborah, then DD is effectively negated and all the characters brought in by it are negated.

Thanks.  Banding to Genesis heroes made me think of another thing.  What if Deborah's Directive bands in Zebulun, and the blocking EC is "too big".  Does that EC have to immediately withdraw as if he never blocked, or is it just that Zebulun is ignoring the blocking EC?  I'm asking because I don't know how entering battle and then banding to a pre-block ignore hero works.  Thanks again.

There's technically no such thing as a pre-block ignore hero, ignore works the same no matter when it is played. Banding in Zebulun with his ability at work is the same as playing an ignore enhancement, the EC stays but is continuously losing the battle.

DD cannot be negated by an evil card.  But if it could...  Then Dream/Coliseum Lions would work.

I was wondering about that, but was too lazy to check the REG. So assume instead Battle Cry was used as the example card, then my point stands.
