How do you get an orange Hero? ;)

Assuming you mean Evil Character, I believe Two Possessed by Demons needs to be played in battle.

My understanding of the card is that to target your opponents characters it must be played in battle, however if you wish to set aside two of your characters I see no reason why you couldn't play it like a normal set-aside.

I recall a rule somewhere that says something along the lines of this:

If the set aside enhancement targets characters of the same alignment as the enhancement, it can be played in your territory or during battle, and can only target your characters. If the set aside enhancement targets characters of a differing alignment, it can only be played in battle but can target characters of any player.

Hey,

Two Possessed by Demons can be played on an Orange Evil Character in your territory or it can be played in battle.  If played on a character in your territory it must target characters that you own and control.  If played in battle it can target your opponent's humans.

Wait... so you could you use two posessed by demons to set aside your phinehas, attack with Agur, place zeal, and then play sog and nj to take him back and attack with him next turn? That's awesome!

As an out-of-battle set-aside, you can only set aside your own human ECs. In battle, you can only set aside your opponent's human Heroes. Supposedly, that makes sense for some definition of "make sense."

If you played it in battle, wouldn't you still be able to target your own characters? I thought you could :P

Yes, you can.  Basically, you can only set aside an opponent's characters in battle.
