Cascade Negate Question

If I am attacking with David (Red), and my opponent bands to an opponent plays Lots Wife, and bands to Ishbibinob, and discards David, can I play Bravery of David, can I target Lot's Wife for the negate part?

David: 10/3

Ishbibinob: Discard a Hero in battle with strength 10 or greater.

Bravery of David: Negate an evil card. If the only Hero in battle is warrior class, you may discard an Evil Character. Cannot be negated if David is in play.

If David is your only hero, no, because in Special Initiative you must negate the card causing the removal.

If there is another hero to play it on, you could negate Lot's Wife to remove Ish from the battle and cascade negate his ability, causing David to come back.
