4 Questions about certain cards and more.

1. If a player plays Sarah's Jealousy card ( choose the rescuer) while in battle does the Hero get SI?

2. If a hero is targeted by without Food, SA; While without Food Hero , must allow the Evil Character to play the first enhancement in battle

Does the play first enhancement ability only trigger if that certain hero is in battle or any of opponent's heroes are in battle?

3. Any old card that says stuff like " Hero ignores all poisons and diseases , ignore evil enhancements that depict a false religious practice etc>

Do we treat the word ignore on the old cards like immune instead?

4. What if in a type 2 game one player has his Nebby character in a set aside area and has headquarters at Riblah (protect babs in your territory from discard)

4.1 Can that player put another Nebby in play because the other one is out of play??

4.2 If so can both of them stay because they are protected from discard???

1. No, the hero does not get special initiative.
2. Only the one hero with Without Food on it.
3. Ignore is ignore but it essentially is immune in those circumstances in that they cannot affect the ignoring character.
4. You cannot control more than one unique character at any time so no, you couldn't put Nebby down.

I agree with KoalaKing (although I thought 1 was the other way, but I'm not sure enough to challenge it) However to expand on 3

3) I would say it is not treated as Immune, but there are few differences between Ignore and Immune in the case of enhancements. A character Ignoring all poisons won't be able to be targeted by poison abilities and the numbers won't count in battle. While Immune wouldn't ignore the toughness on enhancements.

Another Question adding on to 2, what if the original hero in battle was exchanged before the evil character was presented, such as the Judges Angels, then what would happen?

1. No SI, it places them in a different battle but does not qualify for granting SI.

2. It only applies if there is a blocker actually blocking that hero.  So if you exchange, there is no blocker for that hero to allow to play an enhancement (after all other abilities complete).

3. Ignored enhancements do not contribute to the battle for numbers if the ignoring character is in battle, cannot be targeted by the ignoring character, and cannot target the ignoring character (both are immune to each other).  Unless errata'd, it doesn't mean negate or blanket immune, it literally means ignore exactly as ignore reads.

4. The original post seems to be referring to an old way that uniques were handled.  Uniques are now protected by game rule from all abilities that would bring them under the control of a player who already has a copy of them out.  There are an exceedingly rare number of scenarios where you can still end up with two of the same, and that would be due to game rule (the way exchange works after battle, for example).  If you end up with two due to game rule, not due to ability (which is impossible), then all copies EXCEPT the original are discarded, regardless of protection.  For the rule on this, see this post in the rule changes post of the Rulings Board sticky.

Per the definition of the "choose opponent" ability as found in the rulebook (you can view it on the wiki here as well):

A choose opponent ability used after a blocker is presented withdraws all characters your opponent controls to their owners’ territories and presents the selected character. If any character in battle cannot be withdrawn by the choose opponent ability, then no character can be presented via that ability
