Title: the rabshakeh with 2k horses and holy grail
Post by: New Raven BR on September 22, 2013, 02:55:49 PM
I cant find any rulings on this so here it goes.

if I have the rabshakeh in play and my opponent used holy grail on him and he has 2k horses equipped. does he still retain it or not?

and if he does; does the sa still have effect or do only the numbers have any effect?

Yes, he both keeps it and can use the ability on it.

Short answer: Yes to both.

Longer answer: Weapons convert with characters, but the special ability only works if it does not harm a hero.

Going in reverse, A hero converted to an EC would retain the weapon, but both the hero and the weapon would lose their special abilities.

so your saying the rabshakeh keeps 2k horses AND is able to use it's ability?

Yep, converting your own guy with 2kh on him is a pretty well known tactic.
