Hezekiah's Signet Ring vs. Protection

If my deck is being protected by the new promo Lost Soul, can Hezekiah's Signet Ring stop me from searching my deck? Wouldn't I be protected from HSR targeting my deck?

Hezekiah's signet Ring - "No opponent may search any draw pile or discard pile."

Lost Soul l- "While you have drawn 4 or fewer cards this turn, protect your hand and deck from opponents' cards."

Hezekiah's Ring of Power can only truly be countered by being thrown into Mt. Doom.

On a more serious note, Hezekiah's Signet Ring actually targets the player, not the deck, because it is actually a restrict, not a protect.

Thus, since Hezekiah's Signet Ring doesn't target your deck, it is not affected by the Crowds LS.

Besides, its hard to protect yourself from someone wearing an invisible ring in a crowd . . .

Nic Marshall is that really you???   :o

Unfortunately, Hezekiah's Signet Ring is a Restrict ability, and thus is quite a nasty card.  It isn't stopped by this LS or any other protection, as currently nothing protects a player from opponent's Restrict abilities.

EDIT:  Instaposted.  tripleplayNo3 is correct.

Haha sure is me! :) Additionally do ya'll know if the new Moses hero is converted to an EC, is his special ability still active? Because he specifically targets cloud heroes with an exception clause, but good special abilities that target good cards don't convert?

Hero abilities don't convert, period.  That was done because Rob doesn't want combo players (cough cough) coming up with decks that specifically abuse hero abilities on converted Evil Characters.

Two more questions. (I've been away from the game for awhile so I'm not up to date on all the new rules.)

Can you play a "place in territory" enhancement in battle with the new Moses in play? Or would the enhancement immediately be negated as soon as it is placed in territory?

If you are protected from the first evil enhancement played by an opponent, would you be protected from a tossed enhancement?

Moses would negate the "place" ability so the enhancement would be negated (unless it was a cannot be prevented or cannot be negated card like the new Treasures of War).

No, tossed enhancements decrease regardless of protection or immunity.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

If a placed enhancement is already down on the field, is it immediately discarded when Moses drops down?

You can't negate the placing of a card the phase after it was placed.
