Stoic Philosophers (SP) territory class EC SA: Protect your unique Greek Evil Characters and Black Enhancements in Territories from discard.

1. What if Player A has already put down 2 SP in their territory from Hand (they did not enter battle ) and then Player B attacks with Hero John (SA Negate Evil Characters)

Would the SA on SP (in territory) be negated until the end of the battle phase and then reactivates again after the battle phase is over or is the SA stopped for the rest of the game?

2. If a territory class character is put down from hand and then enters battle and returns to territory surviving does the SA on still take effect? or does it end?

3. What if a territory class character was presented from hand straight into battle and then returns to owner's territory surviving. Does the SA still take effect or does it end?

4. If a territory class character SA ends when they entered battle at least once and return to territory , is there anyway to reactivate it again?

Here are two links that discuss TC characters,
http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/ruling-questions/territory-class/
http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/ruling-questions/tc-character-abilities/
From what I understand their abilities only activate when they enter territory, or battle.
2. Yes, he has reentered territory his ability reactivates.
For 1. I am guessing that the negate wears off after battle phase, if not, you can put them in battle, and when they hit territory again, they will reactivate.
3. Yes, same reasoning as 2.
4. Yes, TC abilities will activate in battle and when they hit territory, whether from hand or battle.

Redoubter or Browarod could probably answer this better than I, especially number 1. Hope it helps anyway.

For 2 and 3 the TC character's ability would activate each time they entered territory and battle, regardless of the order or frequency.

For 4, the ability doesn't exactly "end" if a TC character moves from territory to battle, it just reactivates. Therefore, the ability is still happening (or if it has an instant ability it happens again). And it will reactivate again if the character returns to territory after battle.

For 1, I'm not 100% sure about this. John's negate only lasts until the end of the battle phase, so I don't know if they would then kick back in since the negate is no longer there (since they had activated prior to the negate) or if they would stay negated until they enter battle or somehow re-enter territory. My thinking is that they would kick back in after the negate ends, but I'd wait for confirmation from someone else.

For Number 1, I believe they are only negated until the battle ends, but to get the ability to start working again you either need to enter battle or re-enter territory.
Just one more thing...
