In type 1 and/or type 2 (assuming you have a 100 card deck), Are you able to activate 2 of the same unique curses assuming you have a fortress that lets you activate an additional curse?

Also when you capture your opponents evil character, is it considered your evil character?
(so you can discard it with king manessah)?

King Manasseh (Di)
Type: Evil Char. • Brigade: Pale Green/Brown • Ability: 6 / 6 • Class: Warrior • Special Ability: May band to a demon or magician, or you may discard 2 of your human Evil Characters to return a Hero to owner's hand. • Identifiers: OT Male Human, King & Magician (Judah), Royalty, Fought Earthly Battle • Verse: II Kings 21:6 • Availability: Disciples booster packs ()

Does anyone know if Cactus Game Design Discourages hosts from playing in their own tournament?

No, no and no. And no (in fact, very often the host of a tournament won't even be a judge at all).
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

No. All Fortresses, Artifacts, Covenants, and Curses are unique. So just like unique characters, you can only have one of them in play at a time. So you can only have one Storehouse in your territory, one Unknown Nation active, etc.

No. "Your" as in "your" card means it has to be owned by you (came from your deck) and controlled by you (in your territory or on your side of the battle). Since your opponents EC is not owned by you, it is not "your" EC according to the rules.

Hosts can and often do play in their own tournies. The one requirement is that they have at least one non-player for each category to judge the categories they are playing in. For example, the tourney host who hosts most of the tournies I attend usually plays Booster Draft, and he just gets someone else who isn't playing draft to judge the category.

So if the E.C. is in my territory then I could discard it to kind mannesah, lets sey say I convert the captured E.C. to an E.C. in my territory, would I then be able to discard it with King M.?

A sorta side question about the host vs judge vs playing in the tourney thing:

If a host is playing in a category, can the chosen judge for that category be playing in a different category at the same time? For example, Ken is hosting our playgroup's monthly tournament. I'm playing Booster Draft and Ken is the judge for it. If Ken wanted to participate in Type 1 multiplayer which happens to occur at the same time as Booster Draft, could he do so and have me be the judge for Multiplayer? Sure it would slightly disrupt the games Ken and I are playing if we have to make a ruling for the other category, but I (personally) am not really bothered by it (though, I suppose my opponent would have a right to be). I'm not trying to abuse any loopholes or anything, I'm just wondering for clarification's sake.

I think that depends on the size of the tournament, as well as the other players. For example, Bill Voigt often plays Booster at our tournies, and recently, he asked Justin, who was playing TEAMS, to judge the category. Our tournaments usually have several Elders/experienced players playing in each category, so there aren't a ton of judge questions that come up that can't be answered in the game, but assuming it's a small tournament, it usually isn't a problem.

SoulSeeker and I tag teamed at our last tournament.  It wasn't too much of a problem.
