Learned a lot of new things at this tournament, (like Claudia banded to Ethiopian Treasurer allows you to play a blue enhancement pre-battle), but I had questions about a couple issues.

Can Obedience of Noah be used to block with an EC in your hand, or do they have to be in play?

There was a discussion about ignore + banding.  For example, if I have two heroes banded together, and one of them successfully plays an ignore enhancement (either before or during battle, or even Garden Tomb), can an EC block the hero who is NOT being ignored?  Obviously the ignoring hero would get through, but I thought the EC could still block the other hero and play enhancements?

Thank you, although I don't see why I can't block if your hero banded to a pre-ignore.  For example, someone banding to one the Garden Tomb people.  If James bands to John with Garden Tomb out, I can't block James?  I'm not even trying to block John, just James.  Is it because they act as one hero in that sense?  If so then its yet another point to add to my "Why I don't like the Garden Tomb" thread.

I remembered the other issue that came up.  When a hero enhancement says to set aside all your heroes for one turn (i.e first fruits), when does that one turn begin and when does it end?  My opponent would play that at the end of his turn after the battle phase to set all those characters from the battle aside (for "one turn"), and then bring them all back in his next turn's preparation phase to draw three extra cards and use those same characters to make another rescue attempt?  Where is the downside to that?  How is that "one turn"?  I thought that one turn meant the full cycle.  Am I wrong on this also?

So I guess you can have another point to add to your anti-TGT thread. I'll just keep beating TGT decks with my Philistine defense.

Thanks Roy!  It was fun hanging with you too, and congratulations on that awesome deck!  And I learned a lot for just a couple hours.  Still waiting for the official answer on the "set aside for one turn".  Is it not for one "entire" turn?  Just from the end of the turn when you set them aside until the start of your next preparation phase?  Just doesn't seem like they have been set aside for "one turn" that way.
