Trying to get in one place a confirmation of the targeting of abilities with "opponent" in them.  Please correct me if I'm wrong on any (with support, so I can get behind it as well) or if I miss any scenarios.

• "your opponent" = Only the player opposing you in battle.
• "your opponent's" = Only the player opposing you in battle.
• "your opponents' " = All opposing players.
• "of any opponent" = Any opposing player.
• "of one opponent" = Any opposing player.
• "any opponent's" = Any opposing player.
• "one opponent's" = Any opposing player.
• "any opponents' " = Any/all opposing player(s).

On a side note, the word "your" does not look real anymore.

Is there a card that actually says "any opponents' ?"

Not that I could find, and I hope not, but that doesn't mean there isn't one.  Didn't want to miss a scenario.

Then I would disagree with your conclusion. "Any" is singular, so the SA would only apply to one opponent, however the player would just get to choose which one. The incorrect grammar would not apply.

It's just bad grammar. You'd have to say "any number of opponents'" for it to work in English, and by then it would be clear.

No cards exist with that wording, and none ever will because proper grammar has been utilized for the past many sets now. Chill. Out.

Apologies. I didn't see it as a fun jest, but a dig at Redemption that was unwarranted. I get a little excitable when I feel people are unduly criticizing the game as it makes it seem like people are just complaining for no reason when a legitimate concern is broached. You have mail.

No worries, I understand that.  I feel that it is generally accepted that some cards have some...let's just say "odd" wording...and I find amusement with that over fault with Cactus.  I can see where that can be taken the wrong way.

Understand you completely, we'll just leave it there and move on
