Can i play meeting the Messiah on Lazarus in a territory?

Territory Class Enhancements are a new card type. These enhancements can be played similar to healing enhancements in that they may be activated on a character of matching brigade in your territory.

Like healing enhancements, they give their effect immediately and are immediately discarded (unless the special ability tells you to place them somewhere else). Alternatively, they can be played in battle, obeying the rules of initiative.

I might be missing something here, seeing as I don't have any TexP yet. If MtM is a gold HE and Lazarus can use any enhancement that causes an EC to repent, why can't he use MtM????? He is a John Hero, He would have to be in battle to use the card so his ability is active. I don't see a problem here. The class (territory or otherwise) is not a question, the question was could Lazarus use MtM. If I am wrong then I am just reading something wrong an I apologixe.

Lazarus's ability only activates in battle that is why he cant play it in territory.

Ok, I did miss the territory part. Sorry, my laptop screen is glitching on me tonight, lol. Just put in a Seeker of the Lost and you can use her to play the gold GE's.
