owner = person whose deck the card is from.

is that clause negateable? meaning if kot blocked sov, would that makes its gender...neutral?

Hey,

is that clause negateable? meaning if kot blocked sov, would that makes its gender...neutral?

No.  It's effectively an identifier printed before we put identifiers in a different location on the card (similar to Silly Women).

yes, but silly women has a clause that includes */*, which is unnegateable. sov does not.

Just as an identifier that states that a red hero "fought in an earthly battle" isn't negated against KoT, SoV's identifier that determines gender is CBN.  It falls under the same category.

that is an identifier not found in a special ability though. that does not apply to the situation at hand.

Identifiers cannot be negated, ever.  Gender is an identifier, so SoV's sentence explaining how to determine its gender is just clarification, not an ability.
