Title: Speaking of burial Shroud
Post by: crustpope on April 28, 2009, 01:12:42 PM
Several cards say "may be used twice" such as Captured Ark and Burial Shroud.  Does this mean that they may only be used twice per game?

If the card does not say "per game" can you have three copies of captured ark in Type II and use each of them twice?  Same for burial shroud?

Not in the way you would think.  It's not the opponent's loss of an active artifact that is OP.  It's the fact that the constant shuffling of a type 2 deck will eventually cause your opponent to lose focus during the game.   :D

Yes, so does Burial Shroud and all other limited use cards that don't say "per game".

Yes, so does Burial Shroud and all other limited use cards that don't say "per game".

So, if you had say 5 ANBs in the deck, you could use each of the three copies of Captured Ark (Burial Shroud) 7 times.  And give your opponent Carpal Shuffle Syndrome--or whatever they call it when your arm goes numb from shuffling.

P.S. To the makers of the new and improved RTS: Please add an ANB button so you don't have to shuffle in everything one card at a time.

The "new RTS" is coming out at the same time as Duke Nukem Forever, right?

That would make my green type II deck Soooo much easier to play with.

This is not entirely true.  The "new RTS" is more than myth or rumor...it is within the realm of possibility.  Unfortunately, everyone involved is sworn to secrecy, but my guess is right after Nats.  Maybe even at Nats.

That would be awesome, because if I am not mistaken then I will be able to play RTS on my mac straight up.

If the rumors are true, you can even play it on your iPhone.  If the rumors are true.

Luckily "real" computers exist for those of us who prefer our cards to have multiple pixels. ;)

Bad news about the "new RTS!" 3DRealms just shut down, which pushes Duke Nukem Forever even further out!
