Title: Soul Survivor question
Post by: Lamborghini_diablo on August 23, 2011, 11:53:52 PM
If I play Death of Unrighteous on Assyrian Survivor, is he defeated?

Protected from discard abilities on opponent’s cards. If defeated, capture to opponent's Land of Bondage. Cannot be interrupted.

Shuffle all Lost Souls and sites in holder's Land of Bondage into owner's draw pile. Discard all Evil Characters in battle.

I asked that before and was told no, because you are discarding yourself. This makes sense with the Potiphar's Wife/Failed Objective ruling.

No it doesn't.  PW specifies defeating the hero.  ASA specifies being defeated.

Lambo, ASA is defeated and goes to opponent's LoB.

I agree. This is how he was playtested. The downside of course being that capturing him to opponent's LoB doesn't allow him to trigger Protection of Jerusalem.

I thought ASA = siege army, unless it also stands for Assyrian Surviv-A

My apologies.  I have not memorized all of the new acronyms.   :-\
