If I have HSR up and it is not prevented, if I play Song of Moses would my opponent have the option to search his deck/discard pile for the heroes or would his search still be restricted since HSR was active before SoM was played? I would believe it's the latter. I think that the "may" clause of the search ability may play a part in my opponent being restricted as well since it's not a mandatory ability he would need to perform.
The Song of Moses - "Each player may search their deck and discard pile for up to 5 heroes and put them in territory and/or hand. Cannot be negated."

Yes, your Opponent can search, but you cannot.
I want to say that you might not be able to even play Song of Moses, because of the restrict, but I'm not sure on that.
-
I left out the part "if I HAVE HSR up". So yes, I could still search. And if my opponent had HSR up that has no bearing on me playing a card like SoM as it's not an ignore ability (like how HHI ignores good banding cards, which includes good enhs) but a restrict on me searching a deck or dc pile.

Household Idols is a prevent for Enhancements. You can't ignore enhancements which is why I'm not sure. But if you have it up, I would say yes you can play it.

The first part (Heroes may not band) is a prevent, yes, but the second part (Good banding cards have no effect) is an ignore ability. And I'm not sure you're nderstanding my question. You may want to re-read my original (corrected) post.

That's true, but how it has been ruled is that you can never ignore enhancements. Enhancements must either be prevented, interrupted, negated or restricted from. You cannot be immune to/protect from/ignore Enhancements. If you ignore the Character its played on, or characters outside of battle. It's why cards like Three Angels work under HHI.

If you have HSR active, your opponents cannot search when you play Song of Moses. That and other reasons were why we limited it to only getting out 5 Heroes.

K thanks.
