Site Doubler LS?

I have two question relating to the Site Doubler LS.

I am wondering what the reasoning is for the Wanderer staying in a Site when exchanged for the Site Doubler.  The REG records the special condition but I'd like to know why that is because I would have thought it would not stay in the Site.
Quote from: REG
If you exchange Ezekiel 34:6 (‘Wanderer’) with the Psalms 1:4 (‘Site Doubler’) Lost  Soul that is in a site with another Lost Soul, the Ezekiel 34:6 (‘Wanderer’) is remains in the site.

The second question is similar to it, does the Site Doubler get pushed out of a Site if its special ability is negated?  Does it matter when the special ability is negated?
May you prosper greatly!

1.  The reasoning behind it is that the locations stay the same.  The special ability added it to the site, but once it is there, it is there.

2.  Don't quote me on this, but I believe it does not (unless I guess it was negated in the same phase it was put in.)

CtheC can be quoted on #2 as he is correct on all counts.

Hmm, this seems strange to me.  Isn't the special ability ongoing?  And wouldn't that mean, if negated, it would leave a Site that another LS was in?
May you prosper greatly!

It probably has to do with the LS being placed in a previous phase/turn, so it can't be negated except possibly in the phase in which it was placed (which is the Preparation phase, so I'm not sure what cards could negate it in that phase).

The special ability is instant. You put it in the site, and then it's there. It isn't being constantly held there by an underlying ongoing SA. So, if you negate the lost soul in the same phase it's played in (impossible without I Am Patience), that will stop it, but after that phase it's location is secured just as a regular sited LS would be.

The SA is a Place ability, per the REG. Place SAs are instantaneous, not ongoing.

Time for a related but different question:

What if Babylonian Banquent Hall with numerous souls in it is negated?

"This Site may hold one Lost Soul for each Babylonian Site in Play."

Hold is not place... do all the souls get kicked out if BBH is negated?

Good question...
I know we play it that the SA is dynamic--so if BBH is filled and you lose a Babylon site you have to eject a LS. Given this, I would think that if BBH was negated it would only be allowed to hold 1 LS (the same as any other site).

One huge caveat is that I'm not sure if we play BBH correctly.

Hey,

Hold is not place... do all the souls get kicked out if BBH is negated?

Hold is place.  Souls are never "kicked out" of any site ever.  Souls only leave sites when (1) they are rescued, (2) Something happens to the site - discarded, stolen by oppoent, etc - or (3) when an ability specifies to remove a lost soul from a site.

I know we play it that the SA is dynamic--so if BBH is filled and you lose a Babylon site you have to eject a LS.

One huge caveat is that I'm not sure if we play BBH correctly.

You are not playing BBH correctly.

Dang!  That's one ruling I made correctly (CoF in Teams) and one ruling I botched (this one).

Thanks for the info.
