Title: Simon the Zealot
Post by: joezim007 on September 24, 2011, 10:29:18 PM
1) Would the new Simon the Zealot count as Peter for the Garden Tomb?

2) Can Simon the Zealot and Peter be in the same deck?

That's what I figure on both accounts, especially when I looked and saw both of them in some of the deck listings. It'd be super nice to have Simon the Zealot work with Garden Tomb, then all the people could be Purple/White for TGT.

They aren't same person though.

Simon, whom he named Peter, and Andrew his brother, and James and John, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon who was called the Zealot, and Judas ["the son" is interpolated] of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor. (Luke 6:14-16, RSV)

Two Simons, one, Simon Peter, was called Peter, the other was Simon the Zealot

Oh, Guess I shoulda read all the way to the end of the verses instead of seeing "Simon, called Peter" and stopping. Whoops.
