I fail to see how one section of the REG trumps another, other than by fiat.  We need to get our house in order as far as rules go.  I hate the feeling I get that I am wasting my time trying to keep up with the rules, When I will never be able to remember them all, and they conflict with all the recorded information.  I  see that section of the REG as an explanation of the section I quoted.  I would still rule those cards as I stated above.  Call me stubborn (or any other thing you want) but I am going to stick to my guns untill we get this resolved.

Now you're just being silly. The Glossary is missing a few words. Is it an error? Yes. Does it mean that hosts get to go rogue and rule however they want even though an Elder has told them otherwise? No.

Maybe they should just raise the LS requirement to win for T1 to 6 LS instead of 5. That way SoG/NJ only gets you 33% towards winning rather than 40%.
I've been a big proponent of that for years, but it would require making T1 decks be a minimum of 60 cards and 8 LS.
DingDingDing!, We have a winner!

Imho, Disciples did more to completely destroy certain deck-types than simply to reduce their usefulness. In card games it's always better to have diversity in competitive types than to make a type just to kill it in a later set. I would have rather seen theme-specific counters to certain things than across-the-board shutdown counters like the Di sites.
I really like how we have a set that changes the metagame of Redemption for a season. Dont worry to much guys, after next NATS things will be more normal

Probably.

The glossary portrays the entire ability as different, than the entry.  How is a host supposed to know which to go with?

I believe you misunderstand me.  I am going to stick to my guns by saying we need to clean up our rules.  We have been waiting for a clean, concise rulebook for years now.  We have had many offers of help to speed the process along.  I want us to fix it.  Or next time a situation like this comes up at a tournament I will go with what the REG says and that may be wrong, but it will be all I have to go on as a host.  I hate the feeling I get when I cost someone a game that I should have ruled differently, but I ruled according to an obsolete rule book.  I can't be on the forums all the time getting questions answered.  I will not go rogue and rule how I see fit.  I will continue to be frustrated with our rules process until we resolve this.  I love this game.  I hate how complicated the rules are.
In AMERICA!!

LOL. I did indeed misunderstand you.  ;D

I saw the strands of gray hair suddenly develop on your head and thought..... ROGUE!  :o

FWIW, I agree that the REG needs to be updated, and a new rulebook would be nice. Don't believe the DaNewreg Code.

I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
