If you target the card as "evil" with wages the evil special ability side needs to have the discard ability. I'm not sure if it's codified in the REG but as far as I'm aware dual alignment and other dual cards are like completely separate cards for targetting (and other things I think).

A dual icon card can be targeted by it’s face value identity(ies) while at face value, but it is only targeted by the identities that match the specified card type and/or alignment of the
targeting ability. Once put on the playing surface, a dual icon card can only be targeted by
the active identity or as a dual icon card. Targeting a card as a dual icon card can be in
general or the name of a dual icon card with its identities (see City, Covenant or Curse), and
can use all or part of either or both identities.

How about Deciet and Vengeance? It doesn't have the good/evil split, and in theory the discard could still go off if a Son of Jacob was converted to evil.
