shooting myself in the foot

I was suprised and confused with the errata listed for Highway (which was just pointed out in a thread).  After all the extensive debate on this, that is not the errata I recall from last spring.

Now I don't want to complain too much because the current wording will work just fine for my combo deck but I feel compelled to make sure.

The late rule change last year cost me any chance to place at our state and regional tournaments (although I had to cancel Nats so that didn't matter).  So I want to be sure that errata is in fact what the official wording is, and when they find combo decks working, they are not going to late change it again.

P.S. the combo was possible with the previous Highway ruling, it was just slower and more difficult to do so it wasn't very appealing.

Huh.  The REG doesn't have the latest errata.
Quote
Errata: "Hero may withdraw from battle.  If no Heroes remain in battle return all good enhancements on that hero to your hand (except this one)."

Besides, the whole "Heroes can only enter battle once" killed the highway combo, didn't it?

No.  I only needed to bring in 20 different heros which was easy to do in type 2.

The link is the errata that I recall but what is weird is that Bryon just posted in the errata thread (Feb 7) that a couple erratas were missing and he would update them.  This included Sin in the Camp which looks updated but the Highway errata reads differently than that link says.

That's my fault partially.  I saw that the Highway errata was missing so I copy and pasted it from the REG thinking that was correct.  I've posted in the REG update thread and I'll give Bryon a reminder to fix the errata thread.  Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Yeah, figured it was something like that.  better to be dissapointed now then mid season.

Btw, is there going to be any errata for the rest: Stillness, Visions of Iddo the Seer, etc.?  That might be assumed by some but there is no documentation of that so far.

According to Bryon's post Stillness, and I would also assume Trust, get the same errata as Highway.  I mentioned that in the message I just sent to him.

When I asked Bryon about Vision of Iddo the Seer at Nationals last summer he said it did not get errata because it was not like the others.
