I just received my first copy of this local promo, and want to make sure that I understand the special ability properly, and to see if there has been any rulings made regarding this card yet.

The card special ability says "May use and hold weapons of any brigade.  May badnd to a generic Syrian."

My question is regarding the first part.  the weapon being held, I assume is a weapon class enhancement card number one, is that safe assumption?

My second and more important question is any brigade, does that mean any evil brigade? since he is a grey evil character? or does any brigade mean that it can be good or evil? I mean can he hold Michael's Sword? or any other good weapon class enhancement?  Please respond back.  Thanks

Bonus info:  You can only put a weapon-class card of a different brigade on Shobach in battle.

SS is correct. The term "weapon(s)" is shorthand for "weapon class enhancement(s)". Evil Characters can never play/hold good enhancements (likewise, Heroes can never play/hold evil enhancements). The way that Shobach (and David, Kings Red) work is that when they enter battle, they can play weapons via normal initiative, then they can hold them like any warrior would normally hold a weapon for future battles.
