If I have this activated and my opponent shows up with fallen warrior (2/2) does he die automatically or does he just need a number boost. CWA lowers all human evil charecters defense by 3

Depends when and where he is in play. (Now excluding protection)

If before battle phase (In territory) = Discarded
If before battle phase (In hand) = Safe
If IN battle phase (Blocked/banded from hand) = Safe (But needs to get up 2 defense to not get discarded)

You know, Covenant with Adam only affects characters in battle. But change the card to Crown of Thorns, and I agree with all the above.
