Has the New REG changed the old ruling about Ignore vs. Immune in these cases? It used to be that if you ignored one brigade of a multi-brigade character, then you ignored the character (as was just ruled in this example). But if you were immune to one brigade, the character could still target you with enhancements of the other brigades.
I wasn't aware of that ruling, I believe it is the same for both (that you are immune to the character if they fit
any of the definitions), and always seen it ruled that way. But I did just check the rules, and there isn't a notation in the new REG about multi-colored characters.
Just like if you had a male, Egyptian EC and were only immune to males, you'd still be immune to that character. They meet the criteria. If you meet
any of the criteria, then there is immunity, just like any similar targeting or condition checking. So in the case of Self, for example, any immunity based on brigade would cause immunity to Self, because the criteria is met. I don't believe there is a situation where it matters for immune that it would not matter for ignore.
