If all my humans are ignored preblock, can i block with Seven Wicked Spirits to exchange for one into battle?

Seven Wicked Spirits (FF)
Type: Evil Char. • Brigade: Orange • Ability: 7 / 7 • Class: None • Special Ability: You may interrupt all Fortresses and exchange this Evil Character with any other Evil Character in play or set-aside area. • Identifiers: Generic NT Male Demon • Verse: Luke 11:26 • Availability: Faith of our Fathers booster packs (None)

This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

I don't believe so because SWS does not interrupt the character/enhancement ability but interrupts all fortresses.

correct unless the ignore is TGT which SWS does interrupt.

Very true. I was trying to remember if there was an ignore granted by a fort and totally forgot that one.

Sounds like someone has been playing against some green prophets.

correct unless the ignore is TGT which SWS does interrupt.

Incorrect.  SWS cannot enter battle if ignored by TGT, even to interrupt it.  This is a similar situation to "You may not interrupt/negate something that is preventing you".  SWS is restricted from entering battle, and is therefore unable to be placed there to interrupt a fortress.

So you MAY NOT block with an ignored SWS to interrupt TGT and use the ability there.  Your best bet would be to use Destructive Sin off of SWS to stop the Garden altogether.

As far as using SWS to bring a human in (say against Spiritual Warfare), this is also a no-go.  Ignore restricts characters from entering battle if they are ignored, and specifically states that they may not be targeted by an ability that would bring them into battle either.

Uh, while everything you say is correct it is also not relevant to the question that was asked. RTSManiac was asking about a case where his humans--and not 7WS--were ignored.

If the humans were being ignored by TGT, then 7WS can enter battle, interrupt TGT's ignore, and then swap for a human.  Once that human character is in battle (completely), the interrupt would cease and he/she would be ignored.

This is correct (and relevant ;) ).

Yes this is true, although I see how my brother could have misread the point being made about TGT.  But yes, if you had say 2 Orange demons, you could block with SWS and exchange with an uzzah to discard him and protect the souls.

To be fair, everything I said was absolutely correct ;)

And looking back, I can see that he was not necessarily suggesting SWS was the one being ignored, but it could definitely be taken that way and should not be assumed to work.  That was what I was making sure was correct.

And I still answered the question with the relevant part of the rules :P

Probably because Tyler Stevens and Daniel Whitten overused it back in the day...
