If I play a set aside enhancement in battle and set aside my opponent's characters, where are the characters set aside to? My set aside area or my opponent's?
-
They go to your opponent's set aside.
-
All cards set aside go to the controlling player's (meaning, not banded in/chosen) set-aside area.
-
And who gets to choose how many turns they are set aside? You or your opponent?
-
No cards that allow you to set aside opponents' cards have undefined turn lengths.
-
What about Patience? You can't set aside an opponent's hero with patience?
-
REG: "you must direct the effect of the set-aside ability to a character you own and currently control"
-
Ah... that stinks. :) I always thought that if you played any set-aside in battle you could target your opponent's characters.

This is where Tim Maly talks about an old deck he took to Nationals way back when. I'll let him tell the story.

Hey,
This is where Tim Maly talks about an old deck he took to Nationals way back when. I'll let him tell the story.
I wasn't trying to set aside my opponent's characters, I was trying to set aside my characters that I'd given my opponent control of :)
I think Eric's pants were a much more interesting story from nationals that year :)
