1). If I am blocked by Death & Hades "Reduce opponent's hand to 7 cards until this character is discarded (or 9 if rescuer has Tables of the Law activated)."  Do I have to discard cards from my hand to reduce it to 7 cards immediately, or do I wait until after the battle and if I have more than 7 cards then I discard down to 7?

2). If Sinning Hand is played on me "Remove a Hero from the game.  Any player may discard half the cards in hand (rounded down) to negate this.  Otherwise, it cannot be negated."  Can I discard half the cards in my hand and then play a negate?  If so, will the cards I just discarded then be played back into my hand?

Added:

3). I start a RA with any hero, and am blocked by an Egyptian.  I band  Jochebed into battle "Character ignores all Egyptian Evil Characters and enhancements cards played with them."  I know that immunity works that If the Egyptian can still kill my original Hero, but not touch Jochebed unless they have a negate/interrupt/prevent.  Does it work the same way for ignore?

1) Yes it is an immediate action

2) no, the negate ability comes from discarded half of your cards so you cant play another to negate the discarding of cards

Actually the answer to this question is no, according to the REG:

Ongoing Abilities > Increase or Decrease Hand Limit > How to Play

The normal limit to the number of cards you may keep in your hand at the end of your Discard Phase is eight ( 8 ) (see Overview of a Turn in the rulebook [p. 7] or Discard Phase in the rulebook [p. 36]).  However, conditions may occur that change the limit (e.g., Tables of the Law, Death & Hades, etc.). There is no limit to the number of cards in your hand during your turn.  However, you must reduce your hand to the legal limit during your Discard Phase.  If your hand falls below the legal limit, you are not required to discard cards from your hand.  Your opponents are not required to reduce their hands during your turn; rather, they must wait until their respective turns.
