1. How does Sword of death work??
Example Player A has 2 clay heroes Apphia and Lydia in territory and then makes a RA with Lydia.
Then Player B blocks with an EC with sword of death placed on it , attempting to discard Lydia with sword of death.
Can the rescuing player decrease Lydia (rescuing hero) 1/1 or can the rescuing player only decrease another hero of theirs of matching brigade?? (in this case Apphia?)
2. If an opponent searches their reserve (example covenant of prayer or Dragon's minions) does music leader trigger??
3. Does music leader trigger if an opponent uses Gain Lost Soul ability ( SA you may shuffle a card from reserve into deck)
4. Assuming if an orange EC in battle uses Imitating evil , whichever IE demon EC it copies , the Imitating evil card copies the SA of that banded demon EC?? (example the banded demon EC SA says draw 1) so it also would draw 1 as well for a total of 2 cards drawn??
1. Going purely off the wording of SoD, I would rule you (The rescuing player) can choose to decrease any Hero that is yours and that has the brigade of the original target, therefore the Hero originally targeted for discard is a valid target for the decrease.
2. It doesn't matter what they search, if opponent uses an ability to search anything it can trigger Music Leader.
3. Yes because they have to search reserve for the card they shuffle.
4. IE does copy the special ability but I don't know if a copied instant ability (such as the draw 1 in your example) would trigger for the IE copy since those abilities activate when the card is played and when the card is played it's Imitating Evil, not the EC it eventually copies. I am confident the ability copies but I would want a second opinion on how the ability would function.
