Title: Saul/Paul card question
Post by: redemption collector 777 on December 23, 2014, 03:31:46 PM
1. If gray pharisee Saul gained 3 experience credit though battles then got converted to Paul does the  3 experience credit stay with him as Paul? or does it reset?

Cards do not reset when converted (they are changed via the convert ability and/or the default for conversion) so I would assume he'd keep his experience credit. Not 100% sure, though.

I believe in the case of Saul/Paul, he does lose the experience credit because he converts from the 11/10 EC Saul to the 10/10 Hero Paul.

I guess I'm not 100% certain either, but that is how I recall it being ruled.

I would concur that he would lose the increases, because he is not a converted Saul.  He is a Paul.  Paul is a different character entirely (brigades, a special ability, more identifiers, etc).  He even has different numbers (Saul is 11/10, Paul is 10/10).

We could have an interesting debate on Roman Jailer, since that is still the same character (I say he would keep them), but Saul/Paul is a unique case that should be ruled as Guardian pointed out from what I can see.
