here for anyone looking for context.
My opponent uses Stalks to exchange characters. Then on my turn I use Stalks to exchange the same characters back. (Alternatively I could do the same sort of thing without my opponent's help by using Stalks on two consecutive turns in Type 2 with two copies of Stalks.)
My first thought was that the two stalks would just cancel each other out and effectively the second one would just make the first one end early. But after thinking about it a bit more...after the first two turns the first stalks ends and tries to exchange back, but none of the characters are available to exchange back (they already have been exchanged back) so the first stalks doesn't unexchange. The next turn the second stalks ends and tries to exchange back, all of the characters are available so they all exchange back (to where they were after the first exchange). At which point all of the exchanging is done and the characters seem to have traded controllers permanently. Is that right? I'm not sure I like the idea of two temporary exchanges resulting in a permanent exchange. While each step kinda makes sense, the result as a whole seems quite counter intuitive.
