Momentum Change - "Return all Evil Enhancements except this one to holder's hand if Evil Character loses in battle."

Escape - "Interrupt the battle and return your Evil Character to your hand."

If I block with a grey EC and play Love of Money, then play False Peace, then play Momentum Change, then play Escape, do I get to return Love of Money, Escape, and False Peace to my hand? Since I did technically lose the battle by running away.

Thanks,
Ben

Because escape interrupts momentum change, it doesn't work.

Usually, yes.

But play it on Naaman, or with AP up, etc., I'm not sure - what does "lose in battle" mean?

Hey,

Removing your only evil character in battle satisfies the condition of that character loosing in battle.
