So, I'm guessing revolt was designed more for TEAMS or Multi rather than 2P?
It was really designed to try and accurately depict the story as best as we could do. In this revolt, everyone banded together under this rebel and went out with him into the wilderness (set aside).
Also, it has a lot of fun impact beyond just multi; being able to use
all of your opponents' abilities (unless they are using the defenses specified) and then immediately have a battle-winning condition applied is really powerful. Turning your opponent's strengths into yours makes this card great in any format (though as noted it really shines with more players, if used properly), and that you get to determine when those heroes come back (if using a stall deck) or destroy them with DD means that there is much more you can do with the card than just band and win a battle. Combos abound.
