@YMT we recently had a correction on one of the job cards to make it play as intended. Personally I think we should be even more active about correcting misprints (original Philetus, for example), but we certainly do not have a policy of no corrections unless gamestate is threatened.

Actually, and I could be wrong, but wasn't that exactly the argument given as to why Split Altar would not be errata'd to play the way it was meant to be, not the way it was printed?
Just one more thing...

Even if that was the argument, the precedent only stands when you are working with a card that still functions positively without making changes for it to work as intended. That's the precedent set by Split Altar, which is by no mean hard and fast. Either way, this situation is not comparable because Revolt would not do anything positive at all if it had to work under the order of operations as opposed to the order written on the card, and Split Altar does.

The elders have agreed to make the following change to how multiple special abilities are resolved. These changes can be considered official now and will be reflected in the REG update to be released with the Cloud of Witnesses set.

Quote
When one or more characters are played and have more than one special ability (including gained abilities, cards placed or held), perform the abilities in this order:

This makes it clear that Enhancements like Revolt resolve as written and are not superseded by an order of operations.

We've also clarified that exchange abilities that bring a character into battle are completed with band abilities during step 3.
Quote
3. Complete band abilities and exchange abilities that bring a character into battle.
