Do converted characters reset in discard pile?
-
Yes.
-
I believe the rule is that, once a character is taken out of play or set-aside (discard or draw piles), they're reset, so any effects, positive or negative, are taken off.

Would a converted Job reset, or would he go straight to D&A and stay an evil character?
-
If I'm remembering correctly, Dust and Ashes sends him to the top of the draw pile (right?), and so he would be reset.

nope. It returns to hand.

Still resets I believe.

Elderness?

Sending to Hand, Deck or Discard resets. I believe technically being removed from the game resets also, but that doesn't matter.

If you tried to convert an opponent's Job while he has D&A out, Job would never get converted, since Job goes to D&A instead of anything bad happening to him. If you converted your own Job, and later he was harmed and defeated by an opponent, then he would go to D&A as an EC, and on your upkeep phase, he would be returned to your hand, where he is reset.
