ok... if you play Bearing Bad News, followed by Momentum Change, Momentum works... is it the same with DoU, Failed Objective, and Belshazzar's Banquet?

How do you propose to play Momentum Change after your evil characters are discarded?

I agree with Tim.  Order of playing doesn't matter with BBN, but it does matter with the others.

ok... so you play Momentum Change, then you play one of the others. does it work?

I guess I misremembered Momentum Change. Posting abilities is helpful:

Return all Evil Enhancements in this battle that were used by this Evil Character except this one to holder's hand if Evil Character loses in battle.

If you play Momentum Change and Failed Objective on the same EC, then you get Failed Objective back.
