REG Update Magicians

It has been decided by Rob and the team that "Magicians" will only be an identifier for Evil Characters. The Magi will no longer be listed as Magicians in the REG and if a Magician is converted to a Hero, it will lose its Magician status (just as an angel that gets converted is no longer an angel).

My guess would be you cannot add identifiers, but I'm not certain.

I'm not incredibly authoritative, but I would assume, since heroes lose their SA's when converted into evil characters, they also would not change identifiers.

So if The Magi are no longer Magicians can they be Kings ;) :P

Ok real question now - Which line of logic brought us to this conclusion? was it that the Magi really weren't Magicians? or was it that we defined 'Magic' as an act involving demonic spirits etc. - Follow up question, if it was the second will we see a list similar to JDS' being added to the REG as Magicians?

I think that in the present culture it's a good idea for a Christian card game not to support the idea that using "magic" can be a good thing.

Since Cactus has repeatedly stressed not posting about magic on this forum, I don't see this ruling as a surprise.
