Red question

I have Foreign Sword on Ishmaiah, I attack with him, return an evil character in my opponent's territory to the top of their deck.  I band to Uriah who is equipped with Warrior's Spear, so he discards the EC that was topdecked.  My opponent blocks with KoT from hand.

What happens?  The discard by Warrior's Spear is CBN because of Uriah, but Foreign Sword can be negated.  So does the EC that was originally discarded return to territory and the original top card of my opponent's deck gets discarded?

Ishmaiah the Gibeonite (RA2)
Type: Hero Char. • Brigade: Red • Ability: 9 / 4 • Class: Warrior • Special Ability: Draw X (limit 3). Negate special abilities on Evil Characters with toughness X or less. May band to a red O.T. Hero.

Foreign Sword - good (RA2)
Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Red • Ability: 3 / 2 • Class: Weapon • Special Ability: Negate an opponent's evil or neutral card. If used by a Canaanite or Philistine, you may return that card to the top of owner's deck.

Uriah the Hittite (RA2)
Type: Hero Char. • Brigade: Red • Ability: 6 / 2 • Class: Warrior • Special Ability: Protect Heroes in your territory from discard. After battle, if David is in play, discard Uriah and an Evil Character. Discard abilities cannot be negated.

Warrior's Spear (RA)
Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Red • Ability: 3 / 2 • Class: Weapon • Special Ability: Discard the top card of opponent's deck. If it is a Lost Soul, put it in play instead and discard this card after battle.

King of Tyrus (Pi)
Type: Evil Char. • Brigade: Orange • Ability: 10 / 12 • Class: None • Special Ability: Negate all special abilities on Characters and Enhancements (except this special ability).

I think that because Uriah and Warrior's spear are CBN that the discard can't be undone.  So the movie to the top of the draw pile can be undone but because the EC was discarded he will not go back into play.

The Soundman nailed it. Negating Foreign Sword would indirectly negate the discard of Warrior's Spear, which cannot happen, so the EC stays discarded.
