Welcome to the Official Redemption® Message Board!
Combined, you two have the right answer, though Eragon5 was the one correct that the third battle (second side-battle) actually stays active!Because Sword Against Sword is CBN when played on Jair (as noted in the video), it cannot be cascade negated. That means that the second side-battle between Rehoboam and Leviathan continues, even though the first side battle is returned to original locations and 'never happened' due to cascade negation of Rehoboam (though CBI/CBN abilities are not undone).uthminister added the last component we needed, that the original battle also continues as FBTN, based on when the ability completes.Tricky question though, indeed. If anyone has any other scenarios to consider, or any questions/concerns about the video, please feel free to post!
Better question - Why wouldn't you just play Samuel's Edict on Jair in that scenario?
