In a somewhat related question, do the final versions of the newly spoiled Corrupt People and Continuous Evil have LS exceptions on them?

If not, are we looking at an Errata, or maybe a game rule that Lost Souls can't be manipulated to pay costs unless specifically stated?

If they have the chance before the printer gets the files, I imagine they'll update that just like Sisera's Army. If not, then likely an errata. or corrected on subsequent printings (if they do that like the last couple sets, I'm not sure how they're going about printing this year since they're getting it printed and legal before Nats).

I moved this to a new topic since it was related to but different than Sisera's Army.

There's a minor REG update that will be released in a couple weeks. With that update we plan to add a default condition to the ability discard to say:

Quote
Discard abilities cannot target a Lost Soul card in play unless a Lost Soul target is specified

The only card in the game that can discard a Lost Soul from play is Burial, which will still function normally since it specifies that it can discard a Lost Soul. We don't have any immediate plans to add more cards that can discard Lost Soul cards. Updating the rules governing the discard of Lost Souls from play allows us to keep abilities shorter going forward by not including (except Lost Soul cards) every time we make a discard from territory ability.
Have you visited the Land of Redemption today?

You might want to put other clarifications on this other than discard.  Because cards they underdeck cards in territory are getting very popular and this being included would allow for the wording on such cards to be shorted as you don't have to clarify anything extra.

I honestly feel like this could go in a "Targeting" section up with special abilities, and recap what we say about face-down cards, then treat LS as the exact same.

Does it say LS or "all" in that location?  Okay.  Does it say anything else?  Can't target.

By tying those things together and putting a new "targeting" definition toward the top, which should probably happen anyway, we can have things better explained.

As Dayne mentioned, I think that's where we're going to end up.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Sounds good to me, I was just making sure that we probably got a full blanket coverage instead of just leaving it as discard only!
