Proper play for "in battle" Set Aside Cards?

I long while ago I asked about Two Possessed by Demons and whether or not it was discarded or if it were set aside with the humans that it sets aside.  I was answered that it is set aside.  The same was true for Moses kills Egyptian.  At the time those two were the only Enhancements that targeted opponent's characters, but now we also have Nebuchadnezzar's Pride, He is Risen, and the Shame Lost Soul.  How are these cards supposed to be played?  Are they set aside along with their targets like all other set asides?  Or are they left in their respective current locations?
May you prosper greatly!

My understanding is that only enhancements are set aside with the characters.  The lost soul wouldn't be.

I've always played Neb's Pride and 'He is Risen' by setting them aside with the characters.

Lost souls never get set on a card for they aren't supposed to go into territories. Any enhancement played on a set aside gets set aside with them and gets discarded when the character get brought back to territory

Neby's Pride only sets aside characters and sites, so I've always discarded it after playing it.

doesn't the REG state that whenever you set something aside the card that set it aside goes with it until it comes back? I know I read that somewhere

If that's the case, then the Shame LS would set itself aside.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

With these cards, who's set aside area do they go to?  Who is controlling them?

I always assumed they went to the owner's set-aside area.

There was a huge discussion about Set Asides awhile ago on the board, and many of the questions that kept coming up (like the ones you asked) were answered by SirNobody and his knowledge of the upcoming REG. I can't quite remember what the topic was, but it was within the past two months I'm pretty sure.

From what I remember, the REG says that the set aside card follows its target, but that was written when only enhancements could set things aside. For obvious reasons, the Shame LS doesn't work that way, and he REG will be changed to reflect that, so only set-aside enhancements (of any alignment will be set-aside. Thus the Shame LS, Haman, etc. don't set themselves aside.

As far as to whose territory they go, I think Tim and The Schaef had a big argument on what would make more sense: the owner of the character's SA area, or the owner of the SA card's area. I don't remember the conclusion though.

IMHO, either way would make sense to me. So which way this is ruled I wouldn't have any complaints XD
