Title: Quick Question about PoJ (FF2)
Post by: megamanlan on October 02, 2012, 01:17:44 AM
I'm about 90% sure I'm correct on this, but I want to be sure...
If I force my Opponent to block with an Assyrian and it dies by numbers does it count as me Discarding him so I can trigger PoJ?

Protection of Jerusalem (FF2)
0/0 Silver Good Territory Class Enhancement
Isaiah 37:35, Limit one per territory
Place in your territory: Protect OT Good Fortresses from Opponents. If you Discard an Evil Assyrian, you may negate and Discard an Evil Card.

I think so, but want to be sure.

Yes. He was killed by your Hero, therefore you trigger PoJ.

Ok, I thought so. That makes Discarder LS so much more fun.

I'm sorry, is there an Assyrian Demon?

I believe that Megamanlan is referring to the lost soul (Psalm 119:150) in Tin I of FooF. This lost souls says: "When you draw this card you may discard an evil card from your territory to make an opponent discard a good card from hand or territory."

Cool combo with PoJ!
