Title: Quick question
Post by: SwiftxRedemption on October 11, 2015, 03:53:03 PM
My Soldier of God (PC) enters battle while having Breastplate of Righteousness,  Helmet of Salvation, and Shield of Faith placed on him. My opponent then blocks with King of Tyrus (Wa). King of Tyrus would then turn off all AoG's on Soldier. My opponent plays CM targeting Soldier. Would I have an opportunity to respond to the declaration of King of Tyrus blocking by discarding him with AoTL before the CM can be played?

If he has blocked or declared his intention to block with KoT then he gets the block off and the negate happens then you can angel of the lord his KoT. However since the negate happened he can still use his CM.

Playing Angel of the Lord doesn't negate King of Tyrus, so even if you play it first it won't help you because the AoGs will still be negated for the battle phase..  Further more, in this case of slapjack, he would be responding to his own action of blocking, so CM would win the tie on attempt to play the dominants.
