So it's a matter of who draws their soul first. With two decks of similar size, it's ~50/50. I don't like those odds when the cost is a deck slot AND an extra soul for my opponent to rescue, with the benefit being an extra soul for me to rescue. There are better ways of accomplishing that benefit that aren't as risky IMO.
