Quick Dutiful priest question

Identifier (when put in play choose to be a tabernacle or a temple priest.)

1. I am assuming if you choose to be a temple priest that would mean you can either make it a solomon or zerubabbel temple priest.

Is this correct??

Yes, you have to choose a Temple for them to be a priest of. In addition to Solomon's and Zerubabbel's Temple, you could also choose Herod's Temple.

Not sure if this ruling has changed, but I remember back when RoJ first came out, i made a "Revelation Priests" deck for t2, which used Dutiful Priests as a Heavenly temple priest. There's no benefit to doing it, but that's an option as well.
