Questions from playtesting Tabernacle

Several questions here.

1. When exactly do "when blocked" abilities on Heroes activate? Do they happen before or after the evil character's ability? What about evil weapons?
Example: Dutiful Priest attacks.
Spoiler (hover to show)
A. He is blocked by Doeg. Does Doeg discard Dutiful Priest before he gets to play an offering? If so, does that stop Dutiful Priest from playing an enhancement (it was never interrupted)?

B. He is blocked by a pale green character holding Two Thousand Horses. Do the Horses go off and allow the blocker to play first? If so, does Dutiful Priest get to play an offering after the enhancement played off 2kH (assuming he's still in battle)?

C. Is the answer to B changed if Dutiful Priest is Tabernacle and Aaron's Staff is active (making DP CBN)?

2. Order of operations.
I have The Tabernacle, Aaron's Staff, Eleazar son of Aaron, and Melchizedek in play.

All of these say "if your Tabernacle priest enters battle" (or similar enough as makes no difference). If all of these are active and I attack with a Tabernacle priest, what order do they resolve? Do I choose, or is there a hierarchy between hero/artifact/fort? When I asked this question on an earlier Tabernacle thread I got the following, but I'd like confirmation.
I'm not 100% certain but I think you get to choose which to resolve first.

3. For the purposes of black/gold Outsiders, do face-down artifacts count as "in play"? What about Glory of the Lord?

Thank you in advance!
ANB is good. Change my mind.

1. After all EC abilities complete.  Banding, weapons, everything.
A. Doeg gets to choose his targets as part of the initial block - if it's just Dutiful in battle and he's targeted, Dutiful gets special initiative to negate the discard before he can play the offering.
B. Horses allows the blocker to play first, potentially creating special initiative to be resolved or ending the battle.  Horses interrupts the "If blocked" trigger, so it's not active when the block happens, so I don't think you can play an offering.
C. Horses can't interrupt the "If blocked" trigger, so you could play the offering after resolving special initiative if the battle isn't over.

2. The REG says this:
Quote
If two mandatory triggered abilities activate at the same time, the active player resolves all abilities they control in the order they choose, then inactive players resolve all abilities they control in the order they choose in turn order around the table.

If two optional triggered abilities activate at the same time, the active player chooses whether or not to resolve all of their abilities first in the order they choose, then inactive players choose whether or not to resolve all abilities they control in the order they choose in turn order around the table.

Staff and Eleazar are mandatory, Tabernacle and Melchizedek are optional.  I'd say you choose the order of the mandatory abilities first, then choose the order (if you want to) for the optional ones.  Regardless, the REG should state how to resolve abilities that aren't all mandatory or all optional.

3. Face down artifacts are in play for Outsiders, but they have no identifiers (among other things) while face down, so Glory of the Lord won't protect them.
