You will remain part of SA: If an opponet removes your last hero from battle , you may remove this from the game to add your Hero to battle.

LS (forsaken) : Negate opponent's band abilites

1. If player A has LS (Forsaken) in territory , discards their last hero in battle , can Player B who has You will remain active ,  use  You will Remain and banish it to add a Hero to battle??

2. Does "Add to battle" abilities default to in play only??
example can you banish "you will remain" to add a hero to battle from hand??

Someone in our play group looked up "add to battle" in r.e.g and said they did not find anything that says those abilites defealut to in play only.

Also remembered something about this rule was stated at 2016 nationals.

Quote from: REG>Add to Battle>Clarifications
An add to battle ability is not a band ability unless it exclusively adds one or more characters to a side of the battle where at least one other character of the same alignment is always present.

Any ability that can be used with no other same alignment characters in battle is not a band ability, and gets around the Forsaken LS. You Will Remain never acts like a band ability, since it can't be used unless there are no heroes on your side of battle. But even something like Unknown Nation is not stopped by the Forsaken LS because it can add to battle when you have no characters in battle.

Targets must be in a territory or in holder’s hand.
