Title: question regarding dynamic abilities (cbn example given)

Foreign wives blocks while opponent has drawn 3 cards this turn opponents initiative they play reach draw 3. Is foreign wives at the moment they draw more than 5 protected or only protected if they have drawn 5 prior to foreign wives entering battle? Thanks in advance!

It was ruled that it will update so FW will be protected, unless something has changed

You are correct. FW is dynamic.
