Title: Question from the Tournament Today
Post by: EmJayBee83 on February 07, 2009, 11:30:13 PM
Hey All,

A ruling question came up at the tournament today that I wasn't quite sure of. Here is the rundown...

Player A makes a rescues with a green brigade character.
Player B blocks and is killing Player A's hero by the numbers.
Player A played Visions and selected an evil character from his hand to fight against the blocker.

The question that came up is whether Player A is allowed to select an EC from hand. I ended up ruling for Player A, in analogy with banding and CtB. Both of those cases allow players to choose characters from hand.

Visions  SA  Select one of your Evil Characters to fight a blocking Evil Character. Prevent all special abilities on opponent’s Enhancements during that battle.

If either of the players were over 40, I wouldn't have had a moment's hesitation over the ruling.

(Either way.  :D)
