I think I may have asked this before, but I can't find the answer anywhere at the moment. At what point are set-aside enhancements technically discarded? I know people often keep them on the character once it returns as a reminder, but are they actually discarded when the hero comes back? For instance, is Provisions discarded only after the battle during which its effect is used, or is it discarded immediately when the hero set aside returns?

I found this in the REG:
Set-aside cards remain on the character in the set-aside area until the character is returned to the field of play.

Cool, thanks a lot :)

Hey,
A slight clarification, what Kirk found is from before the era of cards other than enhancements setting people aside. Only set-aside enhancements go with the character to the set-aside area (and are discarded when the character returns to play). Other set-aside cards are not set-aside with the characters.

This is incorrect based on the ruling I asked for a long while ago concerning Two Possessed by Demons. Bryon and company said that TPbD goes with the Heroes to the set aside area. That said, I would love to have TPbD simply go to the discard pile so I can recur it and set aside all of my opponent's Heroes.

Sean, I'm not sure how that conflicts with what Tim said. TPBD is an enhancement that sets aside characters. The exceptions Tim refers to includes High Priest's Maid and a ROA Lost Soul.

OK, it seemed to me like he was saying something different.
