Question!

I set aside my good purple king aside for three turns with Asa's good Reign. Now, my OT heros are immune to WC evil charactars. What if I make a RA with Benaiah. He is a FBTN hero. So, even though this battle will be FBTN, will he still be immune to WC EC's?

Thanks!

yes, FBTN only applies to Battle
AGR is in your territory on a king PLUS gained Sa's are CBN anyway

It doesn't specify "in battle", but "Negate all special abilities on ... non-weapon class enhancements."

Place cards are CBN starting the phase after they are put in play. Benaiah wouldn't negate it.

That's not entirely true. The placement of place cards is CBN, but the SA following the colon is not. It doesn't sound right to me that FbtN characters would negate Placed Enhancements, which is why I'm convinced they should default to "in battle," not "in play."
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Hey,

The placement of place cards is CBN, but the SA following the colon is not.

Where do you get that from?  Place cards can be negated just like any other card (both the place itself and the ability after the colon).  The "cannot be negated" feel of place abilities stems from the fact that abilities can only be negated during the phase they took effect, so after the phase when the card is placed the effect of the card cannot be negated.

Another elder ruled that Covenant with Noah would Negate the Discard portion of Abom (but not the placement), even on a later phase than it was played, for the remainder of that phase. It was sometime last year, and idk where the thread is now.

+1  I started that thread, I believe the thread is here.  Bryon ruled, Professor Underwood agreed.  Does this need to be reopened?  I certainly hope not.
