Queen Taphenes vs. King David

I go in with melksadeck (sp) and i have ttod and my opponent blocks with queen taphenes and discards. I play joaida's blessing ot band in some ot human heroes and band in kind david. Would the queem get repeled or would the queen stay in battle?

She would stay in battle, but she is being repelled, which means she cannot affect David. She can still play anything she wants that would effect Melchizedek, or anything else besides David (discard a hero in a territory, top of deck, etc.) It is a common misconception that ignored/repelled characters are kicked out of battle somehow. They can't enter battle if the ignore is happening first, but once they're there, they stay there.

You mean J.'s Strength? :-p When a character in battle is ignored it stays in battle with unlimited init (as long as the ignore is active). If the ignore is not negated/that hero is not discarded then the ignored character returns to territory at the end of battle and if that character was the blocking ec then a LS is rewarded.
